| The FB Associates are a group of people and small businesses that, through a relatively small annual payment, help keep the FB Racing ’34 on the street and strip. In return the Associates receive regular updates by e-mail on what the team are up to, both at the track and in the workshop. It provides a real insight into what it takes to run an 8-second street car. The updates are usually accompanied by exclusive photos and sometimes video. Furthermore each member’s name is displayed on the boot lid of the coupe as a visible sign of his or her support. And let’s face it; it is pretty cool to have your name on the back of the quickest and fastest street rod in Europe! Finally, as a welcome to new members, and as a thank you to those who renew membership, each Associate receives an FB Racing “goodie”. These have ranged from key rings and bottle openers to baseball caps and T-shirts – all personalised with the FB Racing logo.
In addition to the above you will also get, absolutely free of charge, that nice warm feeling that comes from helping to keep us going. The income from the Associates really does make a difference to what we can do as a team and we wouldn’t be where we are today were it not for the generous support of a lot of (extra) ordinary people.
Ah, but what does all this cost I hear you ask? Membership for individuals is just £30 rising to £35 for clubs, groups, websites and businesses (an invoice can be provided if required). And joining is easy. Simply fill in the form at the bottom of this page and post it to the address below or, if you’re at the track, just hand it in to one of the FB Racing crew. If you’ve received this by e-mail just enter your details, print & post (or e-mail me the form and post the cheque).
