Martin Taylor's VW Beetle (and 'lil woper')

I have been on with my car for years now!, its changed so many times, that this current setup will probably only last until the next hot ticket! Don't really know how long ive been racing, but I first joint the vwdrc and started racing in pro with them, after years of RWYB. Once i found it was a lot better racing in an 'organised' event i was sold. but racing other vw's in a bracket is ok and can be very competitive, but there's nothing like racing other cars. I have been following SE since its conception and its always been one of my goals to compete in it, and now i think ive got a car that shouldn't be out in the 1st round, so its time to have a go!
While ive been building, waiting for parts etc etc, i have been racing my other car, 'lil woper' you might have seen him, just a little fiat 500 (see pics) and he keeps me smiling and racing when the 52 is being changed, again.

Ive not broken any records had any huge achievements, unlike most of the SEUK members, but i can cut a good light and tend to throttle rather than go for the breaks when the ride gets a little sticky. and hell you'll be all laughing at me so much on the start line that i'll be a few lengths in front before you know it! ;)

Bill MacDermid's 1969 Camaro

I first joined CC/SE in early 1997.I had turned my Championship Winning 69 Camaro (1993 IHRA Overall Champion)
fully street legal. Then at the April Thunderball (1997) ran the very 1st 8
second 1/4 mile
in the Pro class. (8.99 @ 147) Closely followed by Simon Panynes 68 Camaro.
(Myself and Simon were the 1st two in the then 8 sec club, but soon
afterwards the Pro class
fell apart).
Since then Ive had a serious pro street Pop,But in Feb 05 I went to the
States to buy my current
ride.Its another 1969 Camaro,454 intercooled Procharged big block.TH400
,9"rear,Centerlines,fully
street legal with approx 1300hp.Camaro is only a "back-half" car retaining
factory floor pans and stock
front suspension. It weighs in at over 3500 IBS with me in it. "Fat + Happy" The only fibreglass part being the bonnet.
Bill is hoping to do a minimum of at least 2 rounds for 06.
